We're Developing the World's Most Advanced Marine-Focused AI

While SEAQR's mission is to develop cutting-edge marine AI, doing so requires vast amounts of data. That's why SEAQR will utilize third-party data from reputable sources such as NOAA, as well as data collected from our own ocean observatories. This combination of trusted external sources and our proprietary data collection will provide a robust foundation for training our AI systems.

Key AI capabilities we're developing include:

  • Autonomous Decision-Making

Our AI systems will enable maritime assets and systems to make complex decisions in real-time, minimizing the need for human intervention and improving operational efficiency.

  • Natural Language Interfaces

We're creating intuitive natural language interfaces that will allow seamless interaction with maritime data, assets, and related systems in ways not yet possible.

  • Object Tracking and Characterization

SEAQR's AI-driven systems will excel in tracking and classifying various marine objects, including marine life, debris, surface vessels, and both aerial and submerged objects, enhancing our understanding of ocean ecosystems and activities across multiple domains.

  • Anomaly Detection & Classification

From rare marine species to unexpected environmental phenomena, our advanced AI models will automatically detect and characterize anomalies in real-time and in large multi-modal datasets, contributing to early warning systems and scientific discoveries.

Our Ocean Observatories

In addition to leveraging third-party data, SEAQR will collect its own data. Gathering this data from the oceans in an efficient, systematic manner is critical to our success. That's why we're building specialized autonomous Ocean Observatories designed to collect high-fidelity data from the atmosphere, ocean surface and the depths below. Data collected by these observatories will be made accessible in real-time through user-friendly interfaces and APIs, facilitating seamless integration with existing maritime systems and workflows. The data will also be used to train our AI models, providing valuable insights into the marine environment. Here are some of the key AI capabilities we're developing:

A Global Network for Comprehensive Ocean Monitoring

Ultimately, our vision is to create a global network of advanced ocean observatories, working together to capture and analyze real-time data across vast marine regions. On-board AI systems will process this data, detecting patterns, anomalies, and trends to power applications ranging from environmental monitoring to maritime security. This unprecedented data collection effort will significantly enhance our understanding of marine environments, support key areas like safety and research, and provide invaluable training data for our AI models.
